I have some suggestions for the next tournament:

Everyone who is not fighting joins spectators, instead of spawning. No more people killing eachother, attacking the catapults, etc. You also get a much better view of the fights from spectator mode, so I don't see why anyone would disagree. Even organisers should be spectators as it is a lot easier to overview the battlefield as spectator.

If only the 10 people that fight spawn, it's very easy to spot people who disobey and kick/ban them. In deathmatch you can't see their names.

Also with only the fighters spawning you can use the cRPG battle mode - no more crashes, lag, etc.

And last but not least, server capacity should be extended to 120 (Odin said he can do it as far as I know)  and you should use the pink admin chat Beauchamp, your reports were hard to read in grey chat when everyone was spamming it.

ty, but we obviously failed + lagged in the last round, some of us think it'll fuck up our reputation, well maybe, though it'd be unfair from people not to see that the fight wasn't fair because of the lag, but i'm confident that if they think shogunate is better than us they'll regret it sooner or later in strategus :) anyway i knew it would be harder against shogunate and they did well on their side, so still gratz for the victory :)

our lag was worse.  :(

Nice fights everyone, we ended last but we were the only guys the mercs didn't flawless :D. I've learned the lesson that when you are lagging like crazy, don't go speed-based, I got 2-hitted every fight but the last one, against the Risen. We had to RP and go with 3 vs 3 though. Too bad when it was 1 vs 1 I got killed by laggs...

fix your server or do it on another server, as you can see at 0:42 against shogunate bjord lagged letting xant being backstabbed and outnumbered, main reason why we lost imo

To be fair, Olwen, mine and Bjord's ping spikes weren't the server's fault. The ping was naturally high there, but it didn't cause the 150-400 spikes. (Crappy FPS though, as I said before, make the arena smaller, remove all the unnecessary shit outside the main thing!)

obviously not everybody is able to win everything (not even mercs) and strategus is something quite different from 5v5 fights where 1st down usually causes the other one to be backstabbed sooner or later and so on...

good ideas punisher about spec mode and maybe even battle mode - we will however miss audience and atmosphere wich is imo quite important. but i think i might use some of these ideas. btw how do you use admin chat? :p

i'm no mapmaker so i cant make a tourney map, but i'm not against it if anybody else will make some.
