Looking for some opinions on a long maul build

Well I have a +3 one now and I wanna try this sucker out, I have this build planned out but I was wondering if anyone had input or suggestions on a better build

24/15 is imho way better. You're too slow to afford failing at crush-through, long maul is a one trick pony.

How about this? I never really messed with a long maul before so I dont know what to expect, although messing with it on a duel server with 0 wpf was fun

speed bonus is equal if not better than having the extra shitty 8% damage from power strike.

this is a long maul, not a great maul

Due to the lower base weight of the Long Maul I would not go below 24/15 but crush through weapons work great with high amount of strength so you could easily try a 27/12, 30/9 or even a 36/3 build. I had a lot of fun with a 30/9 build with a Mighty Mallet (also 40b damage).

dmg is useless if your gonna get swarmed 

you have a Mighty long maul might aswell get the most out of it by cutting down on str.

What else is the point in gaining that bit of weight and dmg if your just gonna go with a normal str build..

I agree with Tzar, I just retired from a very succesful 18/24 long maul build (it's on lvl 31).

What I use on HeyZeus:
Str: 27
Agi: 15
Pole: 130wpf
PS: 9
Ath: 5
WM: 3

With +3 long maul I'd probably go  24 str with 6 ath
