Make glancing happen less?

Abso-fraking-loootly. Its the most misguide fix in a while. Its a really bastard being out paced by 2hers that are hitting you with the hilt and flipping the crab for massive dmg.

I only glance on extremely shallow hits.

I have a 3/39 13sheild skill build and it doesn't glance on tincans. Are you sure your not just screwing up your foot work?

It is taken into account in the dmg calcs... Are your sure that it does nothing? I mean rain effects everything even if your in a building.

That "Shield" checkbox doesn't seem to do anything to damage values. I also never heard of shield decreasing damage or speed of weapons.

It doesnt. Any time I fight another sword and board user we wind up having a long glancing battle before getting glanced to death 90% of the time

Man you really must be doing something wrong... are you 1H? If so, are you glancing with cut weapons on loomed armor, because that might be the reason for a lot of your glances, in which case just take up a hammer or pick (very effective, just tested yesterday with 5 ps and iberian mace/steel pick). Other than that 1H doesn't glance that much even on extreme angles, except for the stab which seems to glance more often..

yeah i use a MW elite scimi with 6 PS and 140 wpf. it swear no matter how close or far i am from someone I will get at least 5 glances before a clean strike (if im lucky), i also notice 1h glances on me, but it still does damage

I think most of the glances still do damage. If you're sure it's not a positioning problem, then I can only think of loomed armor being the reason for your glances... (cut versus op armor looms)
