something changed with overhead?

I tried to search about this in Forum or "changelogs" but found nothing.

I have the feeling that somehow (probably with the last patch) overheads got srewed up. Overhead more often then ever don't connect when they should or they do when they clearly missed. In overall they are less predictable. I do not speak about "spin-overhead", I know that you can adjust your hit until the animation is done.

First question: Is this in my mind/due to my pc/connection or have others the same experience?

I think that's just due to the ground coillision change. Sometimes you end up overheading straight through someone and it just bounces off of the ground. Overheads always seemed to connect only after hitting the ground (which is why you could "drag" it to people even after missing them..)
Meaning lies as much
in the mind of the reader
as in the Haiku.

You are right, I have seen too many strange things lately to be a coincidence...

For while the fire in the heart of a single Remnant still burns... can Stratia truly have fallen?

Yeah...an overhead can completely miss, but then be "dragged" on to the opponent and it connects...after the animation is complete.

This has to be fixed.  Swing attacks are not active earlier...maybe some of the attacks should END a little earlier too.

Thrust and overhead are like navigated missiles, don't try to aim, just do it and then navigate where it's gonna land.

Playing on my two-hand alt is pretty ridiculous. I can stab, have my attack fully extend, and then either turn slightly or have someone walk into my extended stab and be hurt for a ridiculous amount of damage considering the physics of what just took place. What should be a pinprick hits for the full amount of the attack.

Also on my main, using Iberian Mace, I've noticed that the effective overhead swing range seems shorter. I used to be able to stand pretty far back from a door on a siege map, using the full range of the overhead to hit it from far away, and now I have to stand considerably closer to the door, making the animation cut into more than I have in the past. It seems like I should still be in range with some overheads, that the animation is going through the door still, yet no damage is done to it.

my main "complain" is that while spin-attacks where allways in this game and questionable, you could at least adjust to it and somehow work with it. Currently it seems to me that hits can connect even later than before and and that many hits that should do full damage do nothing (overheads mostly). The latter is extremely annoying if someone attacks you, you block correct but the rythm is broken because nothing happens.
