Setting Main character

Hi, a friend needs some help setting his main character so he can join strategus.

I cant for the life of me remember where the option/setting is and it seemed pretty straight forward when I did it.

Can anyone help?

thx man, i hope i dont need some photographs for him, he's not very adventurous when clicking/looking for buttons
