With my shield after holding block for a long long time (shield wall blocking arrows) it some times randomly gives out and my guy gets tired and drops his block. anybody else get this?

I suspect that's mouse related. Do you use a gaming mouse, for instance? Their buttons are sensitive to much more slight drops in pressure from your finger than conventional mice.

...and last night I watched the archer who killed me forced into melee only to have his sword pass cleanly through his opponent with no effect at all. Then it was my turn as my overhead swing went straight through my opponent's head not injuring him at all. Something is going wrong with something...

Yeah, I had this today...traded blows with a guy and my hits went through him twice, but three of his did the same...then he was killed by someone else.

At first I thought it was just me being rusty after not playing for a while before the big change.
Me and my friend were messing around one day waiting in the siege tower - we were overheading each other and blocking...
then at one point I was holding overhead block but my friend noticed that I was holding a thrust block.

Clearly he was correct and my screen was lying to me...
Its time to kick ass and eat granola...

I have also noticed a problem with blocking, I seem to have much more lag and frame freezes then before the patch.  It has gotten so bad I switched from polearms to 1 hander with shield.

Yesterday on my alt I had one of the most weird and retarded tk ever.

A guy was standing on my right I thrust to the front and tk him.... how would that be even possible I was speechless the hit boxes are really screwed up not only blocks.

Yeah, I got that quite a couple of times, I once tked a friend who was to my left approx ~3 foot away and somehow my overhead tked him.

2v1 me and my team mate attacking this one guy, I back away to let my team mate get a swing in he stabs the stab animation goes right through the enemy & I die somehow.
Also, noticing that my swings won't register, as in the mouse not registering the attack has been let go and should swing so my guy just runs up with his attack raised and never swings, only fix for this is to cancel your attack and try again, which is near impossible to do when you're in the heat of battle.

Holding blocks of any kind for a long period of time results in my character switching block direction randomly (with a weapon)
and lowering his shield randomly (if blocking with a shield)
- I have tried different mouses, even bought a new one, same thing still happens.

All in all my opinion is this has something to do with loss of data due to lag or something similar or maybe I'm unlucky & am just searching for things to blame my mistakes on xD

This.

That's not specific to pikes.  It's a glitch that all polearms suffer (benefit?) from, wherein an overhead will pass through a teammate unless you're pressed up against them.  If those players were on opposing teams, they would have hit every time.

No they aren't. IG did a chamber practice and since it was chamber practice we all joined 1 team and put team damage to 1. We quickly found that this didn't work because attacks work differently on team mates.

So is pikes passing straight through blocks and through the character as well normal?
