Well it certainly seems a little above noob status! Further than I ever got in the game. I remember the last thing I wanted to do was be a long range stealth ship (so a sniper), but was discouraged to hear they were underpowered (at least at the time, but maybe not now?). I think my account got wiped, because I can't seem to look up what ship and research I had.
Have you guys claimed a spot on the map yet, or are you still stuck in the starting sectors?
Edit - Ah, I found my old info with EVEMon. My active ship is a Rupture, I have 46 known skills (only 2 at level 5, and quite a bit at level 3), 1,581,673 total SP, clone grade Gamma, and apparently almost 9 million ISK (I don't remember having so much). I have not logged in since 2009, and I only barely remember that ship. I know I never had a real fight in it. How much further along are you guys from this old character?
