no way - you send a line of javelineers first to skirmish + cav

tell them to hold fire and the shields will take the arrows

close to melee and it's ALL over

Antarians only fail if you only have foot melee

If both sides were commanded by a player it would be hard to say because the Villianese infantry could get the Antarians to expose themselves to fire, and the Antarian cav would just get dismounted so fast by arrows it wouldn't even be a factor. Now to take down either side easily in a field battle, I'd just bring an army of Aden's knights, Only the Marinians can stop them. I will give credit to the Antarians on one thing though, they can hold a castle againist anyone, no matter how many are attacking.

hmm i was thinking that id fight villanese anywhere - but attacking one of their castles would be the most punishing

if i was fighting a player i would be using the cavs mobility to save them from archer fire as the other units advanced

if the cav can get into melee range then the archers would switch to melee too, no? At the very least I can move the cav around and behind the archers so if the archers shoot at the cav, then the melee are safe, and vice versa.

VS Aden (like any cav-heavy faction) i would just cheat and stand at the edge of the map haha

The biggest key with the villianese is finding a good hill (which was particularly easy in original M&B), if they have that, there is little that can approach them, cav gets dismounted, shields usually break from getting hit around 15 times a second. +1 to the "Strategy" againist Aden.

Hey guys I'm interested in joining the Fallen Brigade!
I've been playing Warband for a pretty descent length of time (82 hours to be exact =p ).  I've just recently been getting into cRPG as an archer and I think it's been going pretty well.  I'm kind of a stat/RPG junky so it's been a blast playing.  I usually play with my brother but when he's unavailable I typically play alone which gets pretty boring so I decided I'd try to find a faction and from the description of Fallen I figured it'd be worth a shot to try out

Aside from MMOs I've only been in one other clan.  It was a Call of Duty: United Offensive clan and we competed, but we mostly just played for fun.  I've always been a mature team player as I joined that clan when I was only thirteen and by time I was fourteen I was a General (when we had ranks.  We cut that pretty quick) and I led my clan into battles.  Obviously now I'm much older and still very much the team player!

To be honest, my Warband skills need a little work but I'm always looking to improve and I'm certainly not awful :p
And I'm an NA player

Go to our forums there is more now... Off-topic and "Phones.." thread.. I am batshit crazy raging right now at my broken phone so I modified one Dolan comic  . Touch screens... pfffff...
