Spaces in Name now auto DC from server?

I noticed that every character of mine with a space in the name now gets a "Kicked from Server" or "Connection lost" about a second or two after joining. My other characters do not have this problem.

If so, then I need to request entirely different names for a few, as I not only have a Fallen_Tears_of_Destiny but I also have a Fallen Tears of Destiny. :/

Right, this should have probably been in some patch notes that we didnt post cause they were considered minor stuff. Consider this a note then.

Characters with invalid chars in their names no longer load. Valid characters are the same that are accepted in name change application:
- Uppercase letters (A-Z)
- Lowercase letters (a-z)
- Numbers (0-9)
- Underscore (_)

Or as a regexp [A-Za-z0-9_].

Name change accepters have been instructed (and can consider this an instruction too) to be more lenient with names that no longer work so everyone should be able to pick a valid name.
