All thyne hard work hath payeth off...

Is a crafting thing.

Since I'm moving right now I can't post what my options are, but it would appear that there are some %'s and numbers and stuff.

WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN BAZZAL??

You have certain chance to craft, shown were the old WORK function was.

Then, when you DO get a chance to craft, you craft a certain item. Trade good is 100%. Everything else is percentage based.(Aka I had 2% for my straw hat, so every craft chance, I have a 1/50 chance to make a straw hat.)

Seems WAY to low. Either increase the chance to craft way way up, or the item chance up more.

Also could anyone explain what jesters are?I never heard that word in english and from the online vocabulary seems like it's the joker  :?
however I agree the chance of crafting those items seems way to low, I have a chance of 6% to craft a lordly light mail and plate and I got the chadztext like 4 times when I was using it, and anyway it doesn't exceed 10% for any item

Ok so this is assumption but I imagine this is how it works?

1. Craft an item. Percentage chance per item is based on the efficiency of the settlement + the % chance next to the item in the crafting menu which is tied to the in game message.
2. The cost is how much it sells for (rather than how much to craft?) otherwise there would be no way to make money other than in game?
3. You can either trade those items in the trading goods fashion? Or just sell them like you would normal equipment? I'll make an assumption and say that the cost price is the price these items actually sell for in the buy menu?

Most of that is guess work. It would be nice to have some confirmation.

About Jesters.

You know in medieval times those people wearing very colourful clothing? Usually with lots of different colours? That's jesters. They are jugglers, clowns, acrobats and the like. Most of them traveled between villages and cities, while the most skilled ones had jobs in the different courts, like the Kings court, the different Barons and Dutches and the like.
This game isn't about being skillful as much as its about saying things in general chat that enrage people who then go to murder you but in their rage they make dumb mistakes which gets them killed.

Considering they JUST implemented this, i don't think anyone's crafted anything yet.

Still, using the double percentage rate (village success, item success) actually causes a LOWER success than either one individually(unless one was significantly higher than the other)

example: 15% for fief and 10% for item creates a 1.5% overall.(15/100 * 1/10)

Lorenzo just crafted something. But our gold disappeared for a while and then just came back. So we aren't sure if it changed or not.

I found that translation too, actually it's that crafting a jester didn't and doesnt make a lot of sense to me haha(yeah my fault, I forgot to mention that it was an option in the crafting selection menu as a good)
maybe jester is also a term used to refere to their traditional clothes?just guessing anyway

So when I crafting something, I pay for this item, right ?

The goal of Strategus battles shouldnt be to deprive your enemies of players, but to have full roster both sides and have the gear/tactics/strategy win the day rather than lack of merc support.
