I'd suggest:

500  and 50.000g

or - in worst case scenario:

1000 pop and 100.000g

This gonna be a killer anyway....

Villages should be at max pop and enough gold to buy midling gear. During the Okin test attacks, the gold villages had was perfect. Ask him about the amount.

Castles should have 1/2 their max to start with, and the Gold to fund it with  good defense gear.

Cities should have 3/4 of their population and Good gold.

The default most people go with when equipping troops in basic gear 100g for each troop. So for 500 population, 50k gold, ect.

That would be ok for villages, it's far too low for castles/cities.

For example, this would be medium gear for 1000 troops

Nordic Helmet - 800
Byrnie - 650
Tribal Warrior Outfit - 200
Sarranid Leather Armor - 150
Leather Gloves - 1000
Leather Boots - 850
Mail Chausses -150
Scimitar - 40
Military Sickle - 50
Soldier's Cleaver - 110
Knobbed Mace - 50
Hide Covered Round Shield - 390
Heater Shield - 100
Kite Shield - 210
Dadao - 200
Morningstar - 40
Heavy Lance - 100
Long Spear - 80
Long Voulge - 70
Horn Bow -120
Rus Bow - 80
Arrows - 600
Arbalest - 20
Bolts - 80
Rouncey - 150
Medium Wooden Ladder - 100
Siege Shields - 50
Construction Site - 5
Construction Material - 150

Cost: 160,708

And since castles and towns shouldn't be that easy to take I'd go with 200k/1000 troops so they look like a decent army and 75k/1000 troops for villages to make it more like a militia.

As for population numbers, I'd go with 500 for villages, 1500 for castles, 2500 for towns.

I'm not sure really, 500 was fine for population in the villages, as for money, i don't think they should have much, villages should be rather poor i think...

500 has so far seemed like a good amount.

make it about 100-150g per ticket in villages, and some more in castles/towns.

I dont see whats wrong with the old default values... i do have a question though... how hard is it going to be to put together huge armies this time around? if im not mistaken one of the goals was to have smaller army sizes overall... if so then 10,000 defenders in a town might be a bit much... but if you reduce the population to make it more assailable, then it might also be necessary to boost the effect population has on gold per hour for working to compensate for lower populations.

Since this strat will be also wiped out cos of beta explanitions over and over.

Just make something that u can test battles and stuff so the point should be taking claims faster and making moar wars (drama ) .

So i suggest making the gold income as same as v2.0 starting status.Which means 500 pop and 50k and also main problem is the income from cities that we cant really grind and take fiefs easly with 20 gold per hour.

A normal 1000 army needs at least 100 k. Lets make a basic calculation : 25 members grinding in a city : 25 x 25 : 625  ;
625 X 24(1 day ) =15000 so we need 1 week to gear up a 1000 army so taking 1 fief which is 2500 needs 2 and half week which we cant really make 1.000.000 gold to crush a peasant army in neutral fief.

Make this strategus to have more fun not grind forever so we will grant you more testing

The default most people go with when equipping troops in basic gear 100g for each troop. So for 500 population, 50k gold, ect.

yeah i usually use this as a basis

you can buy low-mid gear with 100g per man an dhave some extra

For population - 500 for villages, 2000 for Castles and 5-10000 for Towns? Maybe Castles can have 150g per man and Towns 50-150g?

Perhaps gold can be randomly generated between certain parameters with villages being poorest, followed by towns and then castles.

It seems right that castles have better equipped but less troops than a town.

Villages 50-100g
Castles 150-200g
Towns 50-150g

Something like that maybe.

750 population villages - 50,000 gold
2500 population castles - 350,000 gold
7500 population cities - 1,250,000 gold

Need to readjust how much gold earn in cities an castles based on population so still enough gold despit lower populations.

Villages were WAY too easy to take in last strategus and cities were WAY too difficult.  This should help balance everything.
