Seems like a scammer.
A real trader don't sell it at a cheap price. 
Anyway, if it was really in purple... then... the guy found a bug and abused it. Else.. you need to see someone for your eyes.

Anyhow, he's lying. He put the trade up and being the quick buyer I got the item. Later, when I went to sell the item in teamspeak, he was there. I apologized and offered to give it back for a small safety bonus but he said it was fine. As to the whereabouts of the sword, a chaos guy has it... I also already spent the gold on booze.

i saw it up on the market and thought it was a mistake so i didnt do the trade but lewp my fine fellow did... He's a regular entrepreneur that one

Noo, was only because I went unhealthy deep into discussion in pravis case, and didn't wanted to do the same here, especially 'cuz after your post things seemed to get complicated. Glad all is solved now.
