I am canadian and i claim neutrality.
When i went to europe, i experienced subtle racism. Not on me, no i'm asian they don't regard me as something dangerous. But if you were a muslim, or someone who clearly lives there and cannot speak english, you are subjegated to serious racial discrimination. This is systematic across the EU, including Germany and France. Mind you, i am talking about metropolises, like Paris and Dusseldorf, not EU equivelant Hicktowns.
In america, they're pretty much canadians in the cities, but the hicktowns are racists as fuck just like in canada. I walk into a burger king in Peterbourough (town north east of toronto) and everyone looked at me like i was a leper. Mind you this is in the country that proclaims its multicultural roots.
TO sum it up, this EU vs NA is fucking stupid and dumb. People in NA are incredibly similar to people in EU. Debating the actions of the most powerful state in the world is idiotic when you think of what similar states in similar situations done. Think of Athens, think of Germany, Think of France, think of GB.
