Well in morrowind the guy who has the sword "Umbra" is named umbra, while on Oblivion the sword is named Umbra not the owner , some girl  has it on oblivion :F

Nope, the guy in Morrowind doesent tell you his name. The name of the sword is Umbra. He says that his name is not important and that, if you must call him something, you can call him by the name of his sword

Maybe not the 1h proficiency, cause it could get a bit overpowered imo. But definitely gloves should have something to do with the power of it.

I think it could just give the game some variety,
i.e. you are fighting and suddenly you sheath your sword and punch your opponent down, kinda like kicking.
