Thanks for organising this guys! (I was christo btw). For the next tourney I would suggest that the quarter and semi finals be best of 3 instead of just a single fight. It felt kinda harsh, 1 mistake and you're out.

!THE TOURNAMENT IS OVER!
first of all thx to everybody who came, i haven't counted it properly but i believe like 40+ people altogether tried their luck in tournament. i was very surprised how people followed the basic rules (except for a few ones that i'm not going to mention). unluckily defending champion randomdude was not able to come, nobody knows what is with him so we had to make 8 qualifying rounds instead of 7 ones.

Winners of qualifying rounds - last men standing
round 1 - ODINVALHALA (won only fighting in robe!)
round 2 - MERC_VARYAG (horsebumped to get into the fight he was avoiding - "mr. turtle" of the tournament)
round 3 - MERC_LAMHBAN (reliably made it into playoffs in one of the first rounds)
round 4 - CRAZY_CRISTO  (fighting with medium tier armor only)
round 5 - MERC_CYBER (always finished at least 3rd in previous LMS rounds, deserved to qualify)
round 6 - PECORES_KAFEIN (not staying outside the fights)
round 7 - FALLEN_SORROW (took a plate armor, "mr. i'm afraid" of the tournament)
round 8 - MERC_AND_BORED (medium tier armor only, confirmed dominance of mercs in qualifiers)

playoffs quaterfinals
MERC_AND_BORED defeats ODINVALHALA (swift fight)
FALLEN_SORROW defeats MERC_VARYAG ("mr. turtle looses to "mr. i'm afraid" - but after a good fight)
MERC_LAMHBAN defeats PECORES_KAFEIN (kafein probably panicked a bit, lamhban confidentely wins)
CRAZY_CRISTO defeats MERC_CYBER (a very good fight, my secret adept for a winner was eliminated)

playoffs semifinals
MERC_AND_BORED defeats CRAZY_CRISTO (well played from Bored)
FALLEN_SORROW defeats MERC_LAMHBAN (maybe the best fight of the whole tournament, Lamhban looted another shield during the fight that was not really appreciated by audience, on the other hand Sorrow kept fighting in plate armor.)

finals
FALLEN_SORROW defeats MERC_AND_BORED
2:1 in final score (fallen_sorrow win, merc_and_bored win, fallen_sorrow win)
all of the fights in finals were very equal.

HAIL TO THE CHAMPION FALLEN SORROW (hopefully next time in proper armor)
for the next tournament Fallen_Sorrow has a spot in playoffs guaranteed so he doesn't have to go through LMS matches.


next tournament will be probably the next week
i suppose it will be clan tournament 5v5 fights on the same map
hopefully we fix a bit the map for the next week (no catapults that maybe caused game crashes for many of you)

best of 3 means that sometimes there will be 5 fights instead of 1. i wanted the tournament to be short and thrilling - thats why i made it only 1 defeat - complete elimination. if you felt nervous during the fights because of that than it was exactly what i wanted.

im not sure what best of 3 would mean for the tournament (except for the fact that than really the skilled onew would have higher chance), but i guess it would mean playoffs would be about 4 times longer at least. and its to much imo.

ah ok, didn't really know what "best of x" means. in fact in testing tournaments we had more rounds since begining of playoffs, but than i decided to stick to this shorter model. but i will consider it for the next tourney, its not like im completely against the idea...
