Request:

1. Add a profficiency for Engineering.
What will this do?

Allow your character to throw construction materials faster, and allow them to use equipment, and put up ladders at a faster rate! (aka lower the time frame for those red bars when you hold down the interact key INCLUDING OPENING AND CLOSING GATES )

2. Add a skill for Siege Equipment
What will this do?

All equipment related items will have a difficulty associated with them.
The difficulty will be addressed by the number of points you have allocated in the Siege Equipment skill.

The higher your skill in Siege Equipment, the more hit points your equipment will have!

Why do this?

1. It will add another fun class to play in C-rpg, and it will give players the chance to actually help by making siege materials.

2. It will PREVENT people from spamming ladders and contruction materials, when they do not have the proper skills.

3. It will give players a chance to make the battle more dynamic!
Slow and steady wins the race...Unless there is a fast person in it.

I think it's a really good idea. Most games have at least 1 building class, but this mod lacks one. I think implementing it would add a lot more fun to the mod.

What good would this do in cRPG itself? Siege tower battles on the battle server?

For this to work it would need to be difficult to hybrid with this class in the way archery used to be (and for the most part still is) almost required to be completely dedicated in skills and WPF.

Placing deployments on the battlefield currently (on siege mode) is fun, but is almost impossible unless you have a dedicated team of players, who would be much better anyways if they just threw their bodies into the fray instead. Infact, building contruction sites on siege mode is so close to useless, that your own team will be upset that you aren't meatshielding instead of placing deployments.

It would be a nice breath of fresh air to actually be able to help your team, and see the fruits of your efforts through strategic placements.

Many of us have been hacking an slashing for quite sometime now, and I think this would also give players the oppurtunity to take a break from the quick reaction contact, and be able to think out some ideas to change the dynamics of the battlefield.

It would also put a new use to smokebombs! If the enemy team is building a scarry deployment, you can get a team of ninjas to take them out with some  smoke bombs! This will really add some new gameplay features that can help players enjoy the game even further.
Slow and steady wins the race...Unless there is a fast person in it.

Not necessarily a bad idea. But I highly doubt that they're going to add any skills or attributes considering they took out about half the skills and attributes from Warband. And those particular ones would have added even more to gameplay than siege skills
