I know a bit more about this ban than others, and I'll say this.

Stop commenting and wait. Trust me. What we see here doesn't actually show what's going on in the background.  Just because smooth did it doesn't mean it wasn't supported, but at the same time, an admin with the horse in the race shouldn't be the final judge, and these admins know that.

The admins here are far, far less inept than you people try to make it out to be.

Ummm what? You realize how stupid this sounds right? In fact, if any moderator, admin or developer feels that someone is cheating they should investigate it fully. It doesn't matter who, or what they're suspected of. It's not bias, nor should the only way to be banned for multi-accounting be by anonymously flagging in a wave. I can't even form a proper argument against this because I can't see any sensible reason why you wouldn't, at times, do an individual investigation.

The issue is that they claim to have fully investigated the situation, and have turned up conclusive evidence. Evidence that they refuse to release. Complicating the situation even more is that the two admins who say they gathered the evidence are Smoothrich and Shik, the two people who (arguably) hate Kesh the most.

So they're gonna perm ban kesh just cuz he posted the logs of the admin irc channel lol,  cuz he embarrassed you guys by exposing what a bunch of clowns you are. Who cares who the mole is 3/4 of the admins are clearly embarrassed about this and so should the devs' be especially chadz who just got 60,000 euros from c-rpg and is counting positive word of mouth advertising c-rpg players.

I remember back when i was like 13 I wanted to be an mod/admin everywhere to feel important and get some kind of a internet power trip. It would be nice if the admins in cRPG were just volunteers who are appointed to help out with moderating servers/forums but clearly that is not the case for some and their admin status is somehow strangely attached to their ego.
