Turning off faction banners is an in-game feature which I wanted to experiment with, to fully immerse myself into the perspective of a Heavy Cav on the Battlefield.  The stakes were high with each thrust, and it was a pretty interesting foray into a realism mode for Warband which would be great to add in on a server, like hardcore for Battlefield and stuff.

I don't even think I lost any rounds I had banners off, I just tk'd maybe 3-4 people over the course of one map, which is no different from most cavalry players as is.

Actually wouldn't a Hardcore Mode server be a fun idea?  No crosshairs, health bars, banners, or kill reports.  Just realistic brawls to the death.  I know how turning off banners was kind of douchey to do, and I tried to avoid teammates based on intuition as much as I could, but some teammates just had a menacing swagger and glare, and it so happened to be a few ATS in a row

Anyway, tking and furthermore intentional tking is an ingame feature, and yet that is a bannable offense.

I did not intentionally teamkill anyone.  I tried to effectively play with banners off on my local client, for the sake of my immersion.  There were a few tks that probably looked intentional, but were just tragic incidents of war, much as it must've been for noble mounted knights in the middle ages. 

There are explicitly no rules against playing with banners off, though it clearly disrupts the server a bit, and I don't plan on making it a habit, unless a server is ever set up specifically for it.

There's plenty of rules against friendly fire, and as an admin you should not be taking steps that could lead you to break the rules that you are to uphold.

anyways since you're just a noob I'll lift your ban. I banned you because I did in fact warn you, twice, about the long spear, and everyone on the server started getting pretty mad at you, as you merrily respawned repeatedly to go long spear lance people on horseback, which yes, is considered exploiting.

Worst admin I've ever seen, an LLJK is naked and running over the whole team every round, he refuses to do anything.  I shoot the TKer as hes riding me over and he bans me.
