Look man, anyone can get to 30 now, 4 mil is doable, but if it would be 6 mil, it would be too much for casual gaming...the devs wanted looms to be achievement, that is why its a bitch to get it  :D

well if im not mistaken the time it takes to get to 1-30 is the same time it takes to get to 30-31 as far as i know

I understand scotts point of view.
My 1st gen was done at the time when there was no retiring option with loss of 50%, so i went it through as 16/15 shielder/archer... Second gen i did it maybe like 8mil cuz i retired something like 3-5 times... 1st as shielder, then polearm and then 2h and then trying new 2h build and at last goin to shielder(i might have tried archer also, i don't remember). Now i'm shielder and i love it, i'm gonna be like it and now i'm only waiting that i can get to lvl 30 and play with my full build until i reach 31 and retire =D

So if something needs to be changed would be the time from lvl 1 to lvl 30, so that it wouldn't take that long but still you'll be atleast 4mil from lvl 30 to lvl31

I would suggest the exact opposite. Cut the the 1-30 part in half and make the 30-31 1.5 times as long. I find leveling a gay arse principle, if it was up to me it was removed and heirlooms would be given when a certain number of kills are made with a weapon or wearing a certain armour.

1-30 and 30-31 is the same amount of xp, so I hope you can see your own logic here.

1-30 is an awesome bite-sized goal

But 30-31 isn't? yet they are the exact same amount of xp.

lol.

Also, XP is fine. If anything I'd want less time leveling up in peasant mode (1-20) and more time at level 30. But really, I have no problem with the current xp setup.

You clearly didn't read all my posts, 1-30 is BITE size because you get levels every so often so they are GOALS, but once you reach 30 the next goal is 31.

Removing leveling from cRPG is the same as removing cRPG from cRPG. Leveling is what this damn mod is about.

Removing leveling from cRPG is the same as removing cRPG from cRPG. Leveling is what this damn mod is about.
For me its about a customizable persistent character. It can be about that without leveling.

I'll take a 50% decreas in xp from 30-31 but as for that spreading it around thing. I would rather use a hot iron as a suppository.

how could you actually achieve that? Free insta lvl 30 respeccable chars every time you get bored of ur current class?

i thought the same when i first started.that lvl 30-31 was a hell that should be eliminated  :| .but now that im in me 4th gen  have started to realize the 30-31 is the reaping of what you have sown.it is the time that you can actually play your COMPLETE build to the fullest of its ability(and the ability of your skills of course) before starting your next build.its a break from the leveling to where you can work  on  your skill and truly understand the strength and weaknesses of a build and decide if it is the one for you. its not a goal marker to 31 its a break from the grinding madness that persist so much in rpg's nowadays

^does that make sense? i do not know i thought hard about it feel free to comment on what i have said i would not mind to talk further into it

Builds are finished at 30. The system forces people to spend 50% of their retirement at full power. I'm comfortable with the system.
