Converting EXP from alts to mains.

Hello.

I'm not sure whether there's a thread for this, but I believe that we spend the time levelling alternative characters, so we should be able to convert their experience to our main. Skip the Fun characters are exempt from this.

I don't believe gold/item transfer should lie in juxtaposition with experience, as people will farm gold on alts and abuse the system... Typical.

I know I personally have many alts I no-longer use due to nerfs and changes to the classes, deeming them uselessly inactive for me. I would like to not see them as a waste of time, and kill them. Claiming their exp to my main.

I like that you mentioned that items and gold should not be included, otherwise I'd disagree with you.

I don't think there is any reason why we can't move the time we invested (in terms of experience) from our alts to our mains.

I'm saying this as a person who barely uses alts

This is awesome, cuz i wanna try out some pretty many times polearms and so on but heres the ugly fact:

Like said before, I'm for this only if it's the exp (no gold nor items) and it can't be done with STF alts

And here's the thing, cuz you still need to play the same time as you'd need to play with your main =D you just do it with some other character, and cuz you get xp every minute there's no change. seriously you should be able to determin that which char you give the xp

What's the reasoning behind only wanting your xp to transfer over and not your gold or items? Also, I think they're leaning more on doing something where you can transfer over your items, but not gold or exp

So the theory here is that people who don't leech on their mains to get gold will suddenly start leeching on their alts if it becomes possible to transfer items or gold to your main? Or is it that we can accept people leeching on their mains, but leeching on their alts is a greater sin?

This doesn't make any sense or line of logic.
Why wouldn't they be playing their main which has generational advantage? Your point is moot.

I think this is a good idea, although I wish we could also transfer our heirloom points. I have a character I Never use anymore that is gen 4 and not my main . My main is gen 2 for comparison...
All that time invested is wasted. Why can't I get credit for the time I spent? I shouldn't have to grind twice. I'd like to cannibalize my other character's exp and 3 loom points.

If you think about time spent on an alt as wasted, you should reconsider your attitude towards online gaming. Seriously. You played that alt to have fun while bored on main/to counter some bad composition of map and enemies (switching to xbower alt on city maps or something among these lines).

If you want xp on your main, play it. Simple as that.

And i do have alts.
