Kicked from server after I join?

Okay, well, I stopped playing cRPG awhile (well, two weeks or less) ago due to school starting for me....
I got back on, same IP, Warband Serial, etc, and join a map. 5 seconds after I join it kicks me and says "The username belongs to someone else"

What the heck happened or is happening? I really want to play this mod again.....

Try making a character with a new name and then joining one of the official servers.

This error only happens if you are trying to access a name that is not bound to your serial

1) Are you using a new name? If so, what name?

2) Are you able to log into the main website? If so, use the drop down box in the upper left corner to see all of the characters bound to your account

3) If you are not using a new name, and unable to log into the website, make a new username (with the game client), join an EU_cRPG server, press Q, then M, then P, then S when it asks if you are sure and use the pink text to get your login info to the site. This only works on EU, do not try it on any other server. Then proceed back to step 2.

1) No, not using a new name. I'm using the same name that was tied to my Serial key
2) Yes. I've logged in twice, and the character that I am being kicked from servers with is in the dropdown

Any ideas?

Anyone? I checked... and I am using the same serial, the same exe, and the same computer. I'm getting ticked about this

What happens if you create a new character?

If that works, try renaming your old character, which you can do from the website, I think under "Settings".  Typically they don't allow renames but you can probably add a bogus clan symbol in front of it and they'll take that...

Go to start , type regedit , go to user key , mount and blade warband key , click on it and put your warband key and delete the one there is already

I went to regedit and all that, never replaced it, but I did check the keys. They are, in fact, the same.
And yes, I use 1.143
