Hi.  You may have seen me in game (Penitent_Turtler).  Shielder is the most underrated play style in this game I think.  Some people say "oh, shield is for newbs."  Or "No, you have to be really skilled to use shield well."

I think both those statements are true, meaning that shields are good for everyone! 

Negate archers.  Hold the line.  Enlist in the local shield corps today.

I noticed that most of the top two handers and polearm users in my neck of the woods have a few points in shield. Very worthwhile, especially since I am not the only archer who head hunts priority targets.

Easy shit. Balb gets stuff like 27-2 regularly for example and with a requirement 3 shield to boot. Any nub can do that.

Took me about 2 gens, but I feel confident now.  Not saying I'm a master, but I feel fit to take on and have a good chance of coming out on top of a 2v1 scenario.
