Btw this is somewhat unrelated, but due to the most recent change to the Origin EULA I finally did some research about the potential (and likely) spyware origin is, as well as steam actually, or any fishy software you might come across. Since I don't really want to be profiled, I wanted to find a way to isolate both programs, making them think they run in a blank system. My first idea I had was to make them run in virtual machines, but the use of the graphics card in VMs is usually shit so BF3 would have been unplayable. But there are lightweight alternatives. I currently use this :
http://www.sandboxie.com/ it has lots of options, but essentially it hides the rest of the user system for the designated programs. I imagine some of you already do this, but heh I don't know maybe it will help someone.
