Mte, Intel IS overpriced , although not crap-

Just the fact that they plan to make a CPU where you can unlock more Processor power for money is a slap in the face and supporting such behavior is indefinitely dumb.

But that´s another thing.

I always say: if you have the money, sure, buy Intel, you will have slightly more power than with AMD(Power which you simply dont need for playing games).

If you want relatively cheap hardware which is still more than enough for gaming then go AMD.

Oh and same goes for Nvidia and ATI.

It´s pretty much just like with apple: If you got the money for it, it´s nice, but instead of a Iphone you could buy 2 other Smartphones which do just as well.
Maybe it woud be better for me to find out where you life and kill you when you are satch a Soziopath. You have enough now.

Amd just fills is in the market with their cheap processors that practically can't be unlocked(multipliers) , and even their current high end phenom 2 X6 1090 (15$ difference) can't compare with the i5 2500k, and is completely annihilated if the i5 2500k gets overclocked, intel processors allow alot more freedom at overclocking(the K version, OCable version costs like 5-10€ more.. and gives the user ability to change multiplier as much they want..) than the AMDs, but if youre a casual user, amd is the way to go.. but if youre a gamer...
And the power differences here arent slight, at all actually. An overclocked i5 2500k vs an overclocked amd X6 1090T will end up with 2500k being 30-50% better in just about every game. And that power sure does come useful, already my i5 2500k+gtx 560 ti(1920x1080) is strugling abit with RIFT(half a year old game) on ultra running at 25-30 fps, I dont think theres a game that even dares to come near RIFT in cpu/gpu usage, not even metro 2033.
Also Nvidia/ATI statement is EXTREMELY off, both have cards in each price category(http://www.legitreviews.com/article/1533/1/  < an example, the fight is extremely tight here), each card (except GTX580) having a competitor, and prices/performance are just about the same. Its the features here, eyefinity, driver support, nvidia 3d, physX etc, nvidias capability to fold, amds capability to bitcoin mine.... But there is one massive difference between the two, the higher-end nvidia cards are ALOT more quiet and cooler than AMD ones, and yes even the msi twin frozr, powercolor, XFX 6870/6950/6970/6990... are very very loud. Atleast do some research before you go in an argument like this..

Can't compare apple phones and smartphones, apple is just a complete ripoff here yup.

For anyone who has a silly Origin ID, you can change it here:

I'm still testing whether this changes your soldier name too.

PS: new personal longest headshot record - 934m :D

I dont need research, I have 10 Years of experience with parts.

Oh and the intel is 30-50% better?Fine, but still you dont need that much power since the AMD is still more than enough for the highest settings in any game(I played at least, dont know about rift).

So I repeat: If you want superduperawesome power with which you can run Battlefield3 5 times on highest settings while you have 4 instances of Photoshop open and are working on High-res pictures, AND you have enough money, YES than get an intel(And alot of ram).

Or overall if you just want the best in anything and are able to buy it, get an intel.

If you only want to play games on the highest settings normally and dont do ultrafancy stuff, get a cheap AMD: They will suffice and you will still have more money left for the GPU, which is more important atm anyway.
Maybe it woud be better for me to find out where you life and kill you when you are satch a Soziopath. You have enough now.

He didn't specify what parts he has experience with.

Oh and the Phenom x4 965 BE might be worse in power per megahertz, but it has MORE of them.I know Gigahertz are not everything, but you cant denie thhey have to do somethign with power so just suck it.

and the part where you say 4gb is not enough for BF3. Really enough said.
