These all are good swords, but I prefer Espada. Mostly because of speed and high thrustdmg.

Depends on heirlooms. Without, the NCS is better (more cut is important from horseback). At MW level, there's no reason to take the NCS over the KAS.

Weapons are selected not only for today, but also for tomorrow.
 And very interesting... everyone makes heirloom, only u  not...
If you looked at the statistics, then you noticed ,that already in 2gen KAS is better.
No dude,NCS  is a bad choice and even worse investment.

PS Yeap... a cut +1 (and cost +1,038 g) for pure-basic, and really ...

These all are good swords, but I prefer Espada. Mostly because of speed and high thrustdmg.

For cavs, weapon thrustdmg(1h)  is irrelevant,imho...

Sarranid Cav Sword is hands down the best sword for mounted play. Longest range and very high cut damage. Thrust and speed don't matter much at all to a rider, and anyway it's plenty fast enough to use effectively even if you get dismounted.

Gen 1 you can buy both the NCS and KAS, but you use the NCS because it has 1 more cut damage. When you get to Gen 2, you can heirloom the KAS and start using that as it now has the superior damage.
That way, you get the most damage out of the 2 swords for every gen.

BUT okiN is right, for cavalry use the SCS. It's the best. Heirloom it 3 times for massive damage with long range.
The KAS is only a better choice if you intend to use it regularly on foot too.

I'm going to try and use the steel pick from horseback, just to be special.

This is my opinion, but I would say that the Sarranid Cavalry Sword is the best one, the weapon length and the swing dmg is very nice and its ok fast.

Military cleaver is what I  use. Besides that use the sarranid cav sword, when its masterworked the 105 reach has no match.
