Technically, you do not start paying upkeep until you hit level 26, but yes, it's still possible.

by the way, if you play this way ( like me ) take care because i was on my plated charger, heavy armor on and i hit 26 right before the end of a game yesterday and that costs me 8000k...... so respec BEFORE reaching 26!!!! Don t be stupid like me lol

Yes, and you will go down to level 22 so make an 18 15 build at 22 with 6 ps 5 riding and lol around until you hit 26 again.

Also, people using this 'exploit' are trading character stats and skills for using heavier equipment. Sounds fair imo. They're not getting closer to another retirement (loomz!) too, so staying 25 lvl aint that fancy and hax.
