The traitor Decimator had stolen the artifacts for himself.

That great ambition RandomDude had seen in him had turned into a power hungry beast and worse, a rival for the knowledge RandomDude sought.

Luckily one of the other parties he'd sent out had brought to him an ancient scroll. Part of the scroll had been pain stakingly deciphered, being careful not damage it.
