Managing character names

Can the character table be cleaned up so the retired character names get available again?
Maybe in an intervall of 1 week after retirement?
I really disapprove haveing to use numbers in my name be they arabic or roman.

2.
How about a character name changing interface implemented in the website?
So no admin has to acknowledge the name changes manually anymore?
Maybe raise the price of it so it won't be abused heavily.

I support this.

One of the main reasons I haven't retired my main toons is because I want to keep the same name, with no numbers, no clan tag, no fancy titles.

 I really don't know why retirement makes you change the name....maybe it's easier to code that way? But for realistic terms, it makes no sense, we can have children with the same name as ours without having to put a II, 2nd, or Jr next ot it.
