Weight of a weapon - means what exactly?

What are the PRO's and CON's of a weapon weight?

Heavier weapon makes you walk slower. There is higher chance of blocking crush through weapon with heavier weapon? Stun different? But doesn't matter much if enemy usually dies in 1 hit?
Anyone can summarize it?

I'm asking because I am about to retire and am thinking what to heirloom. If weapon, then this one is going to be 0,5 heavier which is a lot, and I might end up worse than with normal version of the weapon. I am considering Long Great Bardiche. But if not, perhaps Pike? Heirlooming armor doesn't seem that attractive to me, but I accept feedback.

Thanks.

From what I know:

Weight pros:
- weapon more resistant to being crushed through
- weapon less likely to get stunned when used to block
- weapon more likely to cause stun when blocked

Weapon cons:
- weighs more, therefore slows you down more

Best ban reason ever:

I checked, the only Vagabond I found was Wolves_Vagabond_TheCruel, that guy is now unbanned. Ban reason was: "calling Zotte a cockswoggler".

In that case sounds fun.

Also I think more weight helps you to crush through blocks with applicable weapons.

I'm just glad this game is indepth enough to take into acct the weight of a weopon so deeply.  Stun, crushthrough, weopon speed, walking speed, etc.  I really didn't think it had so many variables until recently.  Still new though.  But questions like these definately help to get a better understanding.  If no one here knows there is a wiki set up for crpg but it's still in development and doesn't have alot of info yet afaik.
