Not being Recruited to battle??

I have applied for many different battles and haven't been added to anyone's roster yet.....  Is there something I am  missing here?

could be that, could also be that you are asking for a large sum of money and there are cheaper mercs that are being picked up before you.

or your level, most people won't hire someone if they are lvl 19 or something.

Also, if you are relatively unknown it helps to put your build in the comment section like "9 powerdraw lvl 34 archer"

Thanks for the quick replies..... I am new to all this my first week so rep im sure has something to do with it.  However I always ask for less money like 100 which is always lower then default.  I also always put in there that im a Heavy shield inf/ Calvary build as well.  But your saying I should put my level of my Character and attributes in the description?

- It helps a lot if your over level 28
- Rep does have some factor
- Post what class you are (I.E) 2hander - 8 PowerStrike
- Be in their teamspeak/ventrilo 30 minutes before the strat battle.
- Listen to orders so they know your a good solider for any future fights.

My Character is lvl 28, but I haven't done anything in strategus yet.  So is there a strategus level as well??  And forgive my ignorance but is there a global strategus teamspeak server??

you use the same character as you do in c-rpg, then if you apply for someones battle, even if you don't get accepted, have a look in faction halls for the clans thread and it should have there teamspeak information in, alot of people don't show up and there's always a chance you'll be accepted to the battle, even if you get accepted on the roster, and you don't show up on the clans teamspeak, there's a chance you'll be removed, so keep that in mind...

Don't forget :
Following Orders > Killing Enemy.
If your commander orders you to die, just die.
If your commander orders you to retreat , retreat.
If your commander orders you to stay , stay.
If your commander orders you to charge,charge.
If your commander orders you to kill , kill.
If your commander orders you to pick up x items and not to touch y items , do as he says.
You are a soldier under your commanders rule , you are not a Hero sent by god to save the army.Even if it's wrong to you remember you shouldn't question your commanders tactics and orders your job is to follow orders , simple.
Do those and you'll earn your reputation.

Very true. Sucks a bit for shielders, though, since mostly your tasks are gonna be "stay in front of everyone and catch arrows", "charge the enemy, while shielding your allies from arrows" (which means the guys you are charging is gonna attack YOU first, and the front soldiers are always the first to go xD). But it's really fun to be a shielder when defending, though. Maybe not that exiting, but very useful and less suicidal.
