luck out catapults are destroying our walls, prepare a charge ....

yeah with 2h/polearms/shielders charging to the point where the reach of cata's ends ... rarely going through some heroic ninja flankers succeeded there at sometime when the attackers were sleeping but still rare.

And also a complete class is being neglected within castle/town sieges.
The attackers have some to secure larger areas from flankers but not to the extent as in open field battles or on village attacks.
So what happens is that some really good cav players are equipped with a contingent and thats it.

I would love to see the gate opens and a huge amount of cav charging out ... awesome!!!
Cata's well they will be kind of balanced through that  :mrgreen:

I can see retards openening castle gates and letting in a nice stack of enemies. it's foolish to sally out just to destroy a catapult. Most castles would have their own catapults shooting back....or at least kings/lords that could afford it. I'm no pro at how to build a catapult but i'm sure only the base was important...would go like this. Hey peasents we are besieged! I demand you destroy your house I need wood! And boom new catapult set up :P
