equipment and gold wipe new king builds

Anyone else notice that the equip/gold wipe made archers and polearms specs crazy powerful all of a sudden.

I don't know, it still takes 2 to 3 arrows from a longbow to kill a fighter in peasant clothes (not to mention all those that simply outrun the arrow.)

In the fights i have been in since the wipe horn bows have been 1/2 shotting everything. Their k/ds have been insane.
Likely issue is there is no real shields yet or cav to counter them. Ad for poles clubs just can not get near enough to beat the S key or crazy jump away spins

Yeah, I think chadz secretly loves archers and polearmers.  Luckily I am an archer .  But yeah no other class has come even close to the K?Ds of those 2 classes sicne the patch.

It is because people are spending massive amounts of money for the Horn Bows, but not spending the same on armour/shields... so end result is: Get Fucked.

So yea, until people start wandering around in real armour, range will dominate.

yeah without shields/cav on the field the archers have no real counter.

A few horn bows is a lot cheaper than the armor and shields and easier to reuse over and over again.
