Thoughts on Large Warhorse for a 1h cav?

Is it a good choice of horse for a strong 1h cav build? If not, whats better? I want an affordable horse that will stay alive for long.

Destrier is better IMO.  Large warhorse doesnt offer enough hp/armor for the loss of speed & maneuver.  If you want something tougher than destrier than Cataphract is prob the most popular armored horse

the normal warhorse, my whole clan uses it, it has good speed and maneuver for it's armor, though the large one looks a lot better, for 1handed cav it's a bit to high. you lose range because of that, also a good reason to take the normal warhorse, the cata is small, enough armor, but expensive and not enough speed and maneuever imo.

Large warhorse is better than the cataphract in every way (Less armour but the extra hp more than makes up for it) except charge damage which is pretty useless.
