morningstar on horseback

When using morningstar on horseback with NO shield equipped, does the 1h or 2h wpf apply here?

2h wpf without shield, 1h wpf with shield. Same goes for all 1h/2h weapons on horseback.

But the wpf wouldn't really count for much on horseback. On foot you want to put the shield away (unless your getting shot at ofc). Dunno if the animations is longer without a shield, but the cover from arrows makes with shield the best. Also it makes you able to survive couched lance at the sacrifice of your shield
