After ending my run with the Ninja's, and some Warband time off. I most definitely feel that I am in need of running with Gorath & Company.

tl;dr - I'm applying to join.

Did everyone see this?

... that's why your warning level increases by 1% for every negative AwesomeBar Point you get.

This could turn out to be hilarious...

Hey!
Sorry guys.  Been way busy IRL.  No I didn't die, and no I didn't rage and kill anyone resulting in incarceration.  Yet.
Just been taking care of some things going on in the real world:  New job prospect - Driving Freight.  Long hours, great pay, still in my probationary period before a full employment contract is gained.

Working on my solo album in the studio, auditioning singers.  I don't sing.  I scream in key.  So that's been a bitch to find and take care of.

Gone back to the gym for stress relief taking pankration and general mma training.  Just as a hobby, no delusions of trying to do anything sanctioned.

Annnnnd, been playing Dragon Age 2, as the drama here got to be a bit much with the rest of the community of nitwits.  Plus I actually miss some story and reason behind the game.  Oh how I wish we had a warband MMO.  Anyways, thoroughly enjoyed my first run through of DA2.

I know there's alot of haters, but alot of it seems to be disappointment because they were expecting something else.  Personally I went into the game with no expectations and found something akin to an interactive movie where I got to determine the attitude and personality of the main character and after achieving my first ending option I sat through the whole credits feeling both satisfied as I would after watching an epic first movie in a trilogy, and eagerly awaiting the next one because of how attached I got to my character, his love interest (you get a few choices here) and the rest of his companions and where they all went from here.  Personally, other than a few minor gripes mostly involving aesthetics (more variation on armor choices for looks for myself, and combat obviously being more RPG-ish and not like warband) I give the game a 9/10 on my personal scale.  I really want to continue with more story and see what happens to my character now as the game gave me many surprises, and somewhat touched an emotional connection I had to a few characters who met with tragic endings.

Anyways, gonna log in and play some c-RPG for a bit, though I think I might take another run through DA2 off and on with a different toon of a different character class and choose to take the opposite side of the group I did originally just to see how that plays out.

Welcome to the new members, and thanks to the officers and current members for keeping things together while I've been occupied.
And I should be nice or polite to anyone.... why exactly?

Hit up our TS channel and run with the crew in the servers and we'll see how things work out.  :)

Never got into the first one as personally, though I love Bioware's stories and grew up with the BG series, NWN series, IWD series and so forth, I feel that top-down isometric old-school RPG is a bit dated.  Read many synopsis of the story though on a few sites and thought it was excellent, but bioware tales generally are.  So I went into DA2 fresh and am now in love with the world, characters and story of the series.  It even ties into the events of the first game so I got to learn more about the story in that one as well.  But most fans of the original DA seem to hate this one as the combat is changed and imo the gameplay itself has been updated (they say dumbed down ) so that it's more action oriented while the RPG elements are done like an interactive movie with full voice acting and a dialog wheel.

Interesting bit though, the character's overall personality and conversational dialog evolves based upon what type of choices you make.  If you pick mostly the smartass remarks your character starts to randomly make quips in dialog, the gruff/grumpy choices make you more direct and hardass about everything, and the noble/sincere options make you a goody goody sensitive guy (yuck).  My first run through I went with what struck me as fitting at the moment so I chose mostly the smartass comments with a good sprinkling of both the hardass/grumpy and sincere/noble options as well.  So in the end my character opened up almost every dialog with some trololo one liner but generally got to the point and had good intentions.  Now in this second run I started testing the grumpy/direct options in every conversation on purpose and my character is evolving into this direct/hardass/asshole dude that hardly anyone likes and has no sense of humor while maintaining this cold bloodthirsty "HULK SMASH" attitude.

Anyways, never got into the total war series.

Same thing goes for Jetsam then.  :)

We're a chill group, and pretty much a round table.  If the overall group digs you, then it's all good.  If the overall group majority doesn't, well....
