Good resistance against other archer arrows, Not too fast normal speed, and looks actually good? Is there one like that yet?

Some people should troll a little less, you're beginning to annoy me...

Ok, in seriousness, the best armour for an archer would be:

Felt Cap
Sarranid Leather Armour
Mail Gauntlets
Rus Cav Boots

But you'd look like an idiot really... The reasoning for these items is because it gives you 8/34/31 armour for 6.3 weight. It's got the best weight to armour ratio that I can find and keeps you below the weight limit.

What I personally use is:

Straw Hat
Leather Jerkin
Mail Gauntlets
Rus Cav Boots

As I have both the gauntlets and the leather jerkin heirloomed it gives me a total of 40 body armour, while the other stuff, having the same, body and hands fully heirloomed, it gives you 45 body armour.

In my opinion, to keep keep with having "good stats & a reasonable look" you're going to want to have the following:

Desert Turban
Sarranid Leather Armour
Mail Gauntlets
Sarranid Leather Boots

This will put you spot on 7 weight therefore not incurring any penalties to your archery wpf, but also give you the following stats without any heirlooms:

Head Armour: 14
Body Armour:  34
Leg Armour:    26

That's as good equipment as I could come up with that is inkeeping with a "look".

For weapons you're probably looking at going with the longbow, hammer & 2 stacks of Bodkin Arrows.

Trolling is good for your health. Can't be stubborn and boring all the time

On a serious note i have seen my old friendchers run around with that gear and Longbow recently. Everyone doesn't have to look the same. Even though it would be complete and utter WPF rape.

Says you who took me having to admin as an opportunity to stab me...

And besides, the Tenne clones thing has been done! D:

Edit: On top of that, what I just wrote to this guy is probably the best stats to weight ratio I could find. That took me an hour to work out.

The armour i used to wear consisted of extremely light armour.

White Tunic
Leather Gloves
Leather Boots
Longbow
Hammer
Bodkin Arrows

This paired with high athletics means you can run from most situations (staying a live, is an archers main insentive), managing to evade attacks due to high agi. However if you want medium archer wear then i would suggest:

Black/White Lamellar
Leather Gloves
Leather Boots
And some light helmet

Well since u just cry and don't want to be different and just be one of the masses here's a light crap gear which doesn't look arab-ish not too widely used.

Body Armor : Kaftan
Head Armor: Your choice what fits you the most but nothing obviously over the hoods. (imho nothing at all since it will barely barely at all help you. It's mostly for the style).
Hand Armor: Leather Gauntlets
Foot Armor: Rus Boots.

Bow: Depends. I would prefer a Horn Bow or a Tartar Bow since with it you will deal resonable damage and also be able to win pretty much every ranged duel there is.
Arrows: Tartar Arrows. Provides 18 Arrows instead of the 15 arrows in Bodkin Arrow quiver but at the difference of 1 pierce dmg. You'll probably will be able to live with it. Pick 2 of them if you decide to pick a 1 slot bow.

Secondary weapon: Your choice.  I would suggest one of the 2handed/polearm 1 slot weapons. Langes Messer good length, damage, speed. Balanced weapon. Or fighting axe, good to chop enemy shields off and gives you reasonable dmg. Fighting Pick gives you pretty nice pierce dmg and that's pretty fast.

Personally i would've prefered a Langes Messer. If not i would go for a Steel Pick 1handed weapon.

(OMG I CAN EXPRESS MY OWN OPINIONS WITHOUT GETTING INTO A DEBATE I HOPEZ YAY).

i never had a heavier gear than my studded leather + skull cap + leather gloves. under 7 weight units so... full wpf for archery and sufficient body armor. you really don't need armor as an archer. you just need to not get shot or slaughtered and you'll be fine.

nah there are worse looking armors. i love that on the archer, on the thrower and even on the 2h when paired with good gauntlets.

45 body armor for 7 kilograms (so no wpf penalty and great running speed):

Studded Leather Coat
weight: 5
body armor: 30
leg armor: 10
difficulty: 8

Lordly Scale Gauntlets
weight: 1 (x2 for hands = 2)
body armor: 15
difficulty: 12

And this.

I use Kettle Hat often on my Xbowman, Lamellar on my Archer.

Generally speaking, light armor for gloves and helmet help preserve accuracy on wpf, unless you fight closer up as an archer. Black hood is popular on archers... for looks, almost no armor value but its very light.
