Disable penalties from rain. If impossible, disable rain.
I agree. Although only playing 2 gens of range, it seems unfair that ranged can easily get randomly penalized and no one else.
Remove bamboo spear, long spear, pike.
I don't know what to say. Although getting killed by a 360-jump-longspearintheface can be infuriating (and believe me, it happens to me often. I can't fight anyone using the above weapons), I don't see people using these weapons often enough to make a decision. (I also want to fight WaltF4 again sometime. I only fought him once and I haven't seen him in a while, but he was a beast.)
Lances become couch only. Lances reworked statswise for couch only.
I disagree. To me, it seems as though the change would make too little difference to be worth implementing (That is, unless you mean more than just the polearms that have "lance" in their name).
Full polearm turning on horseback.
Neutral. I have never played cavalry.
Remove stagger.
I'm assuming you mean polestun. In that case, no. I played polearm for 1 gen, and, to me, I couldn't even notice it. Maybe I just suck, but whatever.
Implement comprehensive slot system.
I disagree. It seem fine as is.
Revamp upkeep to constant per tick.
Neutral. This would make planning what gear to use on what multis much easier, but I haven't been having any problems involving upkeep.
Standardize horse HP & armor (base HP, armor, +armor only on armoured, etc).
Rebalance horse HP & armor (less armor, more HP).
Horse speed & maneuverability reduced when injured.
Remove majority of armored horses.
Neutral. I have never played cavalry.
Native animations.
Neutral. I'm not familiar with the changes that animations make to the game apart from that they affect weapon reach.
Plate either removed, or very expensive (and slot-heavy).
I disagree. It seems expensive enough with upkeep. I can only use it on high multis, and I feel that's what Plate is for.
Only one-handers with scabbards (bastard swords qualify), bows with scabbards, and crossbows are sheathable; no doubling of sheath slots.
I disagree. This would just give xbows more of an edge over bows. 1 gen of xbow and 1 gen of archer, and xbow seemed to feel like easy mode.
Add transition to sheathe an item before being able to draw a new one. Add minimum duration required to sheathe weapon.
I agree. In fact, I can't think of a reason not to agree.
Crossbows lose their readied bolt when sheathed.
I disagree. This would really hurt a xbowman's already poor mobility, considering that he has a long loading time and can't move while loading.
Throwing weapons become up to 3ammo unsheathable. Fix throwing axes stick-in model (or remove them entirely).Spear-type throwing weapons become longer.
Neutral. Never played thrower.
Remove lightsaber on all animations (notably overheads).
Err... what? Are you talking about crushthrough?... because that was purposely implemented to be anti-shield.
Color-based uniforms for each team based on team banner, including shield color.
I disagree. We already have banners floating above allies' heads. Sure, it would be neat for style points, but not necessary.
Rebalance items based on logic and not stupid shit.
Define "stupid shit" (please don't say "TurmoilTom")
Rework armor common distribution for 60% light, 30% medium, 7% heavy, 3% plate.
I disagree. I don't see any reason to bother doing this.
Replace heirlooms with blacksmithing.
I disagree. Lots of players spent lots of time getting their looms, and cRPG would probably lose several players.
Weapon length is calculated -5cm from tip (pick-style weapons use center of pick tip).
If the model touches them, I expect it to hit them. A lot of how I fight involves careful spacing, and this would definitely screw me up. I don't know how everyone else fights, so I'll be neutral on this one.
Twohanders above 105 length have polethrust.
I disagree. If implemented, I predict 2-handers scrambling on the market for MW HBSs. If not, it would steer players away from the German Greatsword and Great Sword because their thrust is the main thing going for them compared to other weapons of the same price.
Increase average melee WPF, more benefits for higher WM.
I disagree. This would steer people towards more balanced builds, but to be honest, I don't fight pure str builds to be much of a problem. Sure, I get 1-shotted every now and again, but that's easily solved with improving my blocking on the duel server.
Add disarm mechanic based on comparing WPF, weapon weight & length between opponents.
I disagree. If players purchase a weapon and go into battle with it, they expect being able to use that weapon. It would be a very interesting buff for agi builds, though lol
Blocking for extended periods of time deals flat damage to self based on WPF and duration. Holding attacks for extended periods of time deals flat damage to self based on WPF and duration.
I disagree. They're already slowing they're movement speed if they hold their swing or block constantly. There's no reason to add another penalty.
Weapon blocks are cancelled once they block an attack.
I disagree. People usually let go a parry to swing back at whoever hit them anyway, and if it's a group attacking one guy, he'll most likely get killed regardless of what direction he blocks in.
Replace crushthrough with bonus against shields.
I disagree. If CT is replaced w/ Bonus Against Shields, then anyone who uses a Great Maul will get a Great Axe instead. The only two good things about the Great Maul is damage and crushthrough. If someone wants damage, they'll get a Morningstar (and that already has bonus against shields).
Shield skill is only used as a requirement for shields, in-game Shield skill is 0.
Neutral. I never played a shielder.
Remove jumping.
Remove horse jumping.
Remove ladders from Battle.
Rework maps to reflect these changes.
I disagree. Remove jumping = Remove fences and get rid of siege ramp bug (if it hasn't already been fixed. I haven't played on any of the siege servers in forever.).
Horses are reduced to a light gallop, trot, walk, or are completely stopped when bumping/knocking over infantry depending on the horse.
Fix horse charge hitbox.
Horsemen take % damage of health based on velocity upon horse's death.
Neutral. Never played cavalry. Thanks for changing these, though.
"Horses die if they knock someone over.
Infantry die if they get knocked over by a horse."
Yeah yeah yeah, I've never played cavalry, but still, woah.
Bucklers mounted on arm instead of held in hand.
I disagree. I doubt it's worth the time unless if affects gameplay. If it does, I'll change to neutral because I've never played a shielder.
Automatically start at 9 Strength 9 Agility and begin gaining stat points at level 14.
I disagree. We get to level 14 fast enough, and I don't see the point of implementing this. More level 1 kills, I guess?
Make Strategus map large enough that positioning and travel is significantly important.
I don't do Strat. Neutral.
Knockdown on items with 5+ weight only.
This would remove KD for the Bar Mace, Long Iron Mace, Mace, Warhammer, Long Hafted Knobbed Mace, Long Hafted Spiked Mace, Staff, Quarter Staff, and Iron Staff. I haven't used all these weapons, so I'll be neutral for this one (although, warhammer w/ shield always kills me lol).
