Rangers of Veidar ForestWe're a loose group of cRpg players dedicated to archery and stealth. We have no official ranks or positions and we fight in light, earthy clothing such as leather jerkins or fur coats and wear hoods and facemasks. Each ranger is allowed to mix and match certain items and hoods to make him look distinct and individual while keeping up the general look of the rangers overall. We have our own teamspeak server that we can use for communication and playing together. The info is 87.117.208.140 port is 4165
BackstoryAfter the fall of the tyrannical Kingdom of Swadia and it's replacement by Regalis you and your fellow villagers were content. Until years later a foreign army began conquering all in it's path, destroying the strength of the chadzian Kingdom's and conquering all that was formerly known as Regalis and Rhodokia. Most close to you were cowed into complyment with the occupying power but some of your fellows took to the woods, attacking the enemies communications and supplies, spying out their ways and harming them however they could. Considered the chief among them was Aldwyn the Ranger, and he lead many successful ambushes upon enemy patrols, or so you hear from the strangely cloaked travellers that frequent your village. Now you have been told by one of these rangers that their looking for new recruits, skilled in the use of the bow who can help them in all their ventures. Will you join?

For headgear, you must wear a (non-woman)hood or a black facemask. Acceptable legwear is any type of hunting or nomad boots or similar ones, light and normal leather boots. The allowed bodyarmor is anything a ranger from Swadia would wear, leather jerkins, tunic with green cape, light leather, or a fur coat for example, but nothing with bright colors such as a yellow tunic or red gambeson. The only good handgear is leather gloves.
Every ranger must have a western styled bow, these are the hunting bow, shortbow, longbow, and warbow. For a secondary weapon you may have a dagger or similar weapon such as a short sword or small axe. Use of a two handed weapon is discouraged (due to it looking kind of dumb) but if you must you may use any straight sword or two handed axe. The use of shields is discouraged as it gets in the way of having extra ammo, but you may use any sort of low level shield that doesn't have heraldry on it. For ammo, you may use any but khergit arrows, as we try to avoid anything eastern.
