I just logged into the NA Strategus-Duel server to check out the new pole animations (but they had already been reverted--sad times) when I noticed I got a standard 1000xp/50gp tick.  I stuck around for a while and yep, got another tick of xp/gp.  This could have been around for a while since I spend almost no time on duel servers...but I seem to remember not getting xp/gp on the duel server when my friends first showed me the basics of this game/mod a month ago.

But I could just be misdisrememberating things.

I just checked it. Yeah duel servers give 1x ticks every minute, with no upkeep.

Not sure if this was intentional or what.

Hang around for a minute or more, you'll get 1000xp/50 gold tick.

You have to be dueling.

Otherwise you will notice your little xp bar will disappear and you won't get xp.

I heard several people were caught using auto block in that mod because they could block many people at same time but on duel server you have only one enemy. So you can use auto block on duel server (without get caught) and gain exp + gold, right or wrong?

Wrong, you can't use autoblock or you're permaban.

The point is there is maybe no possibility to detect that on duel server. The guy is just a good blocker... Imho, exp+gold for duel server is wrong if it’s not save.

Devs don't need to detect, they know when someone use autoblock.
