Night itself is not such a problem for me, but night and shadow (yes, shadow in the night) of buildings etc. makes it pretty dark and then i sometimes miss a block.

I don't understand. I play with high graphics and I don't see big difference between day and night maps (except sky).

Tweak the brightness of A) the game and B) your monitor.

HDR on full and nights are plenty bright on my machine. I love the nights.

signed, can be difficult to manually block in night battles. I'm also not interested in constantly changing my monitor settings back and forth between night and day every day that i desire to play.

i agree its a pain changing gamma and monitor settings. even then i still get a headache and cant see

Needs a bump. I simply cannot play during the night. My eyes hurt and reflexes are non existent.

Hey... stop this right now, don't you know night battles add to my dungeon-like atmosphere that the state of my room is in during my daily 9 hours of gameplay. Brrrr... think of the kids...\

btw its more than 15 hours dark during the winter day anyways so i find it realistic, luckily no damn sun and snow to give us headaches in game.

I for one don't mind fog, it doesn't hurt my eyes. I don't mind weather. I just can't stand the night, it's not healthy. Fog just reduces distance, and isn't even dark - while night reduces visibility of everything and you have to stretch your eyes.
