EU Servers autobalance setup

Autobalance settings have been changed for the official servers, so as of today we have the following:

EU_cRPG_1 (120 slot Battle) - Autobalance by Banner
EU_cRPG_2 (80 slot Siege) - Autobalance by Banner
EU_cRPG_4 (50 slot Battle) - Strict Autobalance
EU_cRPG_5 (80 slot Siege) -  Autobalance by Banner
EU_cRPG_7 (80 slot Battle) - Autobalance by Banner

Why would they switch? Imo, Banner Balance is for clans, Strict Balance is for clanless (newbies) :D

Last night there were like 30 BashiBazouks online. They aren't that much of an problem individually but their numbers were far too great for enemy team to have the slightest chance to win. Same goes for every clans which can summon more than 10 capable players at the same time.

The problem weren't the Bashibazookas playing as a team, but the times when the GK were on the same team, aka full cav team plus organized clan.

And this is something to be sorted out, "class" balancing.

Yeah.

No matter the clan, ranged and cavalry should be balanced out equally between teams.

Yet an organised infantry clan won't have the same affect?

Lmao stupid idea. Organised cav is no different from organised inf. Leave banner balance on one and normal balance on the other. GK have the right to be banner balanced as well. If you want to beat us (rather than let us roll a x5 for 3 hours  :lol:), organise yourselves, particularly if you're another clan.

Class balancing should only work on normal autobalance servers. If you're a good clan, you'll be able to beat a concentration of one type of class on a banner balanced server.

So what is the difference between autobalance by banner and strict autobalance?

Something I miss is strict autobalance by banner. That is, everyone with the same banner on the same team, if possible that is (even teams by numbers). That is something that rarely happens no matter which server I play on.

I also disagree that ranged and cav are superior, because they are not. Just take your 2H team inside some building or other part of the map where you get the advantage. Pretty simple.

Strict autobalance is the normal autobalance, that doesn't use banners as a balancing factor.
