People must use standard equipment to save money.

There's no different between people who plays since years or who plays since days.

Yes, it's native. Not crpg

Not really, people can use many outfits. Some to save gold, some to get protection against ranged, some for lulz.

I am able to wear my 45k equipment very often.

Have you even played native? The equipment set is totally different.

CRPG has much wider range in terms equipment and stat permutations that make sense. It is a totally different experience entirely.

If the multiplier is up you will see me in full samurai armor, Katana, Nodachi, Bamboo spear, Wakizashi , well over 50k worth of equipment.
If the multiplier is down and we are losing hard you will see me in pilgrim disguise, bamboo spear, and katana.

If I'm just playing not caring about my cash I'll be in my normal lamellar with katana + bamboo spear

How is this like native at all, I must be playing the crap Native servers the ones without samurai or ninja or pirates or farmers or 1337 plated knights or a naked guy with 4 ladders trying to reach heaven.... etc, etc.

I guess I just somehow failed to see your point.

Standard equipment so it is native? Are you kidding me?

If i were to agree with you on gear, which I don't, this argument would arise:
YOU GET TO CUSTOMIZE YOUR ENTIRE BUILD AND NOT EVERYONE HAS THE SAME STATS, YOU PLAY WITH YOUR PRO AND CONS TO FIT YOUR PLAY STYLE AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Also, I have declared myself #1 NA hybrid thrower
Formerly known as Marathon.
As an NA admin, I am the most laid back and concerned with the ~fun of the game~ above all other factors. I've also been super inactive since Summer 2012. University takes most of my time, but I still find some time to play when i can.

i think the point is exactly this - they want a crpg where the amount of time you put in doesnt give you  significant advantage over a crpg newb

a demi god of native could come to crpg and own us all

like a previous poster said - its more about customization of character than gear but with the pre-2.0 version most people would be in gothic/black armour riding some mega beast in a year or so

I've played cRPG 5 days and I can run around in 40k++ equipment for a looong time even with x1 multiplier.

And there already is a difference between the new players and old players.

1) The oldies have moar cash. Means losing money due to upkeep is a non-issue.
2) Heirlooming. They can have better armors and weapons.

Also: Why must/should there be a bigger difference?
Meaning lies as much

This is totally not native.  I enjoy it way too much.

Is it slightly more like Native? Yes, the patch moved us back towards native on the cosmic scale.  But not enough to be significant, no.

No. In native, you have very few options to customize your character. In cRPG you have lots - more than ever in fact.  And, now, after the patch, more of the equipment is actually being used! Before the patch, once you reached a certain level, say level 25 - which doesn't take very long - you ONLY used high end weapons and armour from then on. Most of the equipment was more or less relegated to 'peasant gear'. Now that you have to consider the upkeep of your weapons and armour, it means sacrifices have to be made, and low and mid level gear is actually utilised.

The new patch is truly wonderful. It has worked out far better than I imagined!

Guys, be sure i dont want to play with black armors, spamberge etc.

Point is i dont want to think how much cost i'll pay every rounds. I dont feel good with this.

Is it playable now? Of course. But its annoying me some naked people kiling me with a spam weapon. If I'm paying for upkeep, everybody must pay like me. People dont wear armors and sometimes killing me with last hit or spam. Am i the only one whos annoying with them? I dont think so.

What about minimum equip by level and stat points? like some native servers. And no naked people.

And RandomDude maybe you can remember my character stats and items and think how i feel with to be killed by a naked or peasant armored spammer.
