Add Knockdown To Throwing Hammers

I'd like to see knockdown chance added to throwing hammers, in both melee and ranged modes. I'd like to see this added because it would be absolutely hilarious, more than anything, and would likely cause more people to use throwing hammers over other options.

so, archers make people mad, cav makes people mad, polearmers make people mad, why shouldn't trhowers make people mad?(even more :mrgreen:)

I think that for the realism we have to do it! (only for the realism for sure...)

also, I agree with vibe, change the model to something more like the warhammer!
So the new response to ranged ragers is not "get a shield", it is "learn to chamber ranged nub!"

the hammers are a bit underwhelming and very hard to hit with due to the slow windup & missile speed. throwing them another bone would certainly help

knockdown doesn't work on projectiles to my knowledge. It would work in melee though, which I'm all for.
There is a different issue with them, but the devs already know.
Also, I have declared myself #1 NA hybrid thrower
Formerly known as Marathon.
As an NA admin, I am the most laid back and concerned with the ~fun of the game~ above all other factors. I've also been super inactive since Summer 2012. University takes most of my time, but I still find some time to play when i can.

Make them 3-slot retrievable items with a shorter and bulkier model.  It would turn throwing hammers into a sub-class who can do medium-range disables and who, if they carry a shield, can fight archers effectively.  They would do very well when supported by a fast 2-hander or polearm user and would otherwise function mostly like a hybrid 1h+shield.

Have you seen the amount of throwers compared to cav/Archer/People With long Pikes There is a shit ton of them. The reason people dont get mad at throwers are because there are very few who are good at it Throwing is an art in C-rpg lol. The only reason I get pissed at Pikes and spears is because You can thrust and then do a 360 and hit everything in the dam path=its fucking annoying. It would be cool for the knock down. I +1 this
