After nearly a year away from cRPG, I have decided to get back into it again, and I could do with some advice regarding my new build

As an avid MM player polearm was the obvious choice for me, and I am currently using the Awlpike, and I am having a lot of fun with it.

I am heading towards 15/15 atm and will then decide where to go from there, what would you guys recommend? I currently have 24/15 or 21/18 in mind, but can't seem to make my mind up. The extra Ath is always nice but I'm not sure whether it would be worth getting 6 Ath but then losing out on 1 IF and 1 PS, any tips?

I am planning to go for level 30 for now. the values after "+" represents what I am planning to have. I need feedback, because I'm not really really sure of it.
It feels now +2 athletics would make me completed, because I can block properly, hit properly, in a server with less than 30-40 players I'm usually in top 4 of my team. It may be luck but it seems my team wins very often. I have at least 5x for %60 of the time. The things I need to improve are catching cowardly fleeing archers, and not letting 2handers outreaching me with their fast movement speed. Even with 5 athletics, my only problem seems to be tk'ing teammates. I die because of careless teammates, more often than the enemy. Also I believe with high movement speed, the speed bonus of my attacks will increase; letting me deal more damage.

If Mikelson wants a very, very, very fast build I would suggest 12/30 or 15/27 but good luck lasting more then two or three minutes into the battle if you're not a sly SOB.

15/27 at level 30 is not possible without dropping IF and WM so...
15/24 with heavy armor is not that faster than a 21/18 with the same weight. but 21/18 have +10 hp, +16% damage at the expenses of a barely noticeable speed increase as the weight encumberance is calculated after ATH bonus... so +3 ATH and +9 agility will not give you that much advantage over a balanced 21/18 while 10hp and +2 PS will help you really a lot. and you'll be able to use all the 2h weapons too.

That's crap. Why would you put 28 agility when you only need 27? And 2 ath is just not enough, those 2 point in IF is a waste, put em in ath instead

Just go with the 15/24, 2 if, 5 ps, 8 ath, 8 wm, that's enough to be a proper ninja, if you want to go superfast go 12/27 or 9/30

i even add:

for a 9-11 weight body armor, 5 ath is enough, 6-7 is faster than average.
for a 12-17 weight body armor, 6 ath is enough, 7-8 is faster than average.
for anything heavier than 18, 7 ath is mandatory to have a good control versus multiple enemies.

but if people want to go the 9ath 50hp 40armor way, then don't whine when you'll get 1-2hit by anything over 5-6PS.

70HP 70 total body armor is really solid. capable to sustain 4-5 good cut blows and 3 morningstar/bec/pick hits. not to mention the glance galore among 1h swords.

also, a +3 black lamellar vest paired with +3 plate mittens, will give a 60 body armor net for something like 12.5 weight units. so for that weight, 27/12 80hp/60armor do wonders.

I'm currently (level 30 builds) a 24/15 shielder (8 PS, 5 ath, 5 shield, 5 wm) and my next gen is either:

24/18 shielder with 8 ps, 6 ath, 6 shield
21/21 2h with 7 ps, 7 ath, 3 wm
18/24 2h with 6 ps, 8 ath, 3wm

Is any of these builds somehow flawed? I don't take IF since I like running in fairly low to mid tier armor anyway usually. Biggest issue with the 24/15 is that the speed is too slow to my liking paired with the length of one handers.

Shield is a nice thing to have in today's archer infested enviroinment though, but I could go 2 wm, 1 shield or 1 wm, 2 shield in the 2h builds without a problem if I felt like it. In melee manual blocking is way more fun anyway.
