What if I want to make a lvl36 cav character that uses 1h or preferrably 2h from horseback with heavy armour. I also want to be able to use polearms on foot with decent efficiency or halfsword with whatever sword I use.

A) Will I need 1h proficiency to make a 2h effective on horseback?
B) Is this viable?
C) How's my current build plan, given that the 1h, 2h and pole proficiencies are already benefitting from melee wpf sharing?

A.) I don't believe so. If you were using a Longsword or something with a shield, yes it would be 1h.

B.) It is certainly viable to do this build, though 21/21 with full Ironflesh may be more worthwhile than the extra PS, especially if you are wearing heavy armor (bearing in mind the synergy between HP and armor).

C.) Unless you want to use a 1h weapon, I would just split the prof between 2h/pole. You may not need all 7 WM to do this effectively and could keep the 24/21 build with 2 IF 5 WM.

This build is made so I can overabuse the long espada eslavona ghost poke.

Switched from a two hand build when I realised I had more range with that one hand ghost poke and also have more speed with it anyway with more space (1slot) if you want to go for an Heavy Crossbow in some senario. Also you realy have to like the poke because you won't deal so much damage with any other attack. Anyway the only thing that matter is just the tip ;)

I also recommand going with the new European Lance since you do not have much range vs cav and when you go in melee you can just throw it at whoever you want. A good way to have more defence at the start vs cav and have little more damage output for realy nothing more.


And if you plan to go like 38 with this build id suggest going 24/24 more than 27/21 since the athletic is realy needed to position yourself with nice footwork between one on one fights to become a gigantic cheap ass jew killstealer.

Because my current build is an attempt to create a build that emulates the 14th-15th century mounted man-at-arms, who did not use a shield any longer and did certainly not use a riding sword for warfare. Why? Because I'm stupid like that.

I've tried the build I made, and I've dropped the 1h prof altogether. I think that dropping that 1 extra PS and the fancy ability to wear the heaviest armours and getting 70 hp would be a good idea.
