With Masterwork Long Awlpike you would 1hit a lot of people.

I'm onehitting tincans with 15/24 and MW pike, just hit the face with the speed bonus.

Try the shortened spear with a 12/27 build. Will take 3-5 hits to kill someone, but 1 hit stuns em long enough to finish the job
