Connection to Server Lost

I keep getting a connection to server lost 30-40 seconds after joining a server.  It has only been happening up to recently and I have never had this problem before.  Everything else is connecting fine ( vent, other games, Steam)  Was just wondering if anyone else has had this issue or knows a fix so that I can actually play this game.  Thank you

Yeps. Getting randomly disconnected from server WAY more often nowadays, and alot in my clan experience the same thing.

But if you keep getting disconnected, hmm thats odd.

I'm also experiencing this.
Only srarted to happen recently.

I have all EU and NA servers in my favorites list, most servers dont refresh.
When I try to join one it will say "connection to server lost" or "This profile name is in use by another player".
It alternates between the two, so I'd assume the server thinks i'm still attempting to connect.

They just seem unresponsive.

Really not sure whats goin on.  I've tried searching the forums for fixes of recently but none.  I'm hoping someone who knows whats up will respond soon so that I can play with no disconnects.  It is getting VERY annoying.

ıts all about RAM... chadz told this b4....ı have the same problem ( ı will add more Ram to my pc )...only way to fix it to add more Ram or restart the  game b4  entering to the servers..

Can't just be RAM, I have 8Gb and its been happening to me past few days

I doubt it's simply RAM, then again, i know very little!.
Have 6GB of RAM, which i'd have thought sufficient enough.

Also, I can't see a way that lack of RAM would cause the favorites list to refresh zero servers, or only part of the list...

Same problem, half of my crpg favourites disappeared at the same time this problem started.

Any one know if this is a widespread problem, or just us unlucky few?

Both looked to happen at the same time for me too.

Also, on another note.
I encountered an odd glitch last night, please speak up if anybody else experienced this.

Was in EU2(iirc) and once map change happened, it kept downloading the same map again and again.
161KBS was the size, it was a new map i'd never seen before.
I closed warband, restarted and tried again, yet it still kept downloading it.

So I left it for a few hours, once i came back it was ok, dont know if the server restarted or what.

Its happening to me too I do not usualy disconnect this frequently, It is literaly every 20 minutes and its annoying when your trying to grind


EDIT: and now everytime i log on withing 20 seconds i lose connection

Same issue, at least once in everymap, more than once in the same map often.
It's been a lot more frecuent lately.

Quad core, 8 GBs RAM, +10 Mbit inet access, I don't lose packets to the server and the traceroute find the ending point @ 70 ms, same as the ping I use to have.
More than one ppl being affected at the same time as I can read often on the general chat.

EDIT: Also the servers dissapear from the multiplayer screen and you have to wait several minutes to get them back and rejoin (EU cRPG servers only)

First impression is that it's related to our host. Apparently same happens on the Shogunate server that's on the same host.

I believe it's a packet loss because I've been doing some traceroutes to the server and I've never got a blank reponse from any hop inside the hoster network, so I guess there's some kind of trouble routing the traffic there, not an intended lack of reply to ICMP requests; /guessing.

As of tonight, I'm yet to experience the same "connection to server lost" msg, when attempting to join a server in my favorites.
Also, the Fav's list seems more responsive.

Whatever they did, it's working.
Now those (in the know) need to sort random connection drops while actually in-game.
