Having a budget of no more then 42K or 43K of equipment gear. (Since I have difficulty sustaining anything past that), and having to use a Klappvisier, Huscarl and Military Cleaver (18,464 already spent), what would you use to go well with the helmet?

I was originally using Wisby Gauntlets, Rus Splinted Greaves and Druzhina Elite Lamellar Armor, but the effect just did not look like what I intended and ended up looking rather ugly.

Theoretically I want a high protection outfit to act like a "tank" to take advantage of my high HP.

Suggestions?

I'm not normal and I don't pretend so, my approach is pretty much a bomb crescendo.
Death is a fun way to pass the time though, several little bullets moving in staccato.
The terror of my reign will live on in infamy, singing when they die like a dead man's symphony.

Take traditional fallen armour: cuir bouilli over mail.

I use that together with a klapvisier and it looks mean.

The problem is even if you are number 1 in NA you are still only number 467 in EU or the worst in AUS(number 17)

In case that he wants to use Rus Splinted Greaves - I would say the cuir boulli doesnt fit so good.

Take some of the armors what bosco said.
I would take the Kuyak (I own both light and heavy).

Kuyak is one of the best looking armors in the game. It has a great model and a high lvl of detail. It fits to nearly everything.
Many helmets can be used with it, and also all gloves, shoes and especialy all kind of weapons - 2h, pole, 1h and shield and so on.

Theoretically I want a high protection outfit to act like a "tank" to take advantage of my high HP.

Take the heavy kuyak. gives good protection.

And if you think you need more then perhaps a Transitional Armor could be used.
It looks also great with a Klappvisier, I sometimes use the same combo.

Klappvisier looks absolutely horrible with the fat armors. Plate of mails or whatever, cuir bouililiillil, banded armor..

Sarranid Guard armor perhaps? Fairly cheap when compared to the amount of body armor it provides. But lacks foot armor almost completly.
There are pleanty of other fallens using that one too, so you won't feel lonely :D

the problem with the klappvisier is that the mail coif looks awful when you're standing still

And you are a smart man , i'm sure you can read and figure that this is Beginner section, so beginner (or not beginner we don't care ) ask question and if you don't want to answer , just freakin eat french fries and don't bother us.

Grey corrazina armor and mail boots , or Churburg and mail boots?

Rus scale is great. Just don't make the same mistake as most people of using gauntlets type gloves with it. Use mail mittens. Just look at baggy's screenshot, he's wearing gauntlets over the wrist guards that come with the armour, it looks stupid!

The goal of Strategus battles shouldnt be to deprive your enemies of players, but to have full roster both sides and have the gear/tactics/strategy win the day rather than lack of merc support.
