the more metal sound mod has a loud and clear sound for horses, it's also realistic. and that solves a part of the ninja cav solution(i'm lancer cav myself, so no hate from my side)

That's actually not true at all. More metal sounds cav sounds have way too much bass and are way too in the low end. It's far from realistic. Also it doesn't make it any easier to track cav by sound. What we really need is different sounds for unarmored / armored horses and prefertably also different for mail / plate.

I dislike most of the vocal sounds in that mod (female deaths and hits are horrible... sounds like cheap scadinavian satanist porn)

But I like the horse and a good part of weapon sounds.
