Half-Swording?

I'm new to this game but having fun nonetheless. I wanted to make a character that uses half-swording but I'm not sure what to level up. Any kind of help would be grateful.

Halfswording uses polearm wpf. So, if you want to halfsword ONLY then only place wpf in that. If you want the full use of your weapon however, you'll need to drop 2-4 points into wpf so you can have a decent amount of twohand wpf as well.

half swording all the time isnt recommended. its extremely slow in anything other than thrust attack

Anyone else find it hilarious that even the 2h swords themselvs do more damage when used in halfsword polearm mode.

But why?

Nearly or over 1k upkeep for a class that finally got to the point where it really seems pointless to play it?

Worst choice in strat for many normal players too.

@Topic:

With polearm wpf, use a real pole mate ;-) Really.

Sidenote: Never seen that many danish GS for sale!!!
